How can I find a place to study in the CORE Library building?
Answer
The CORE on the Hayward campus has a variety of spaces available for student study on all three floors, including carrels (individual desks with privacy panels), larger study tables, lounge chairs, couches, and more. All spaces, except group study rooms, are open to use without a reservation. You can view which CORE study spaces are "collaborative," "quiet, " or "silent" by viewing the map on the CORE Library Noise Policy page.
Looking for a private place to study with a group?
Library group study rooms are available for students to reserve. Instructions on how to reserve a group study room can be found on the Group Study Room Reservation FAQ page.
