How can I borrow, return, or renew a laptop or wifi hotspot?

Answer

Borrowing a laptop or wifi hotspot

We have laptops and wireless (wifi) internet hotspots (monthly data limit = 20gb, for use in the United States only) for you to check out, on a first come, first served basis.

Please visit the Library Learning Commons during open hours to borrow a laptop or wifi hotspot or contact the Learning Commons by phone (510-885-4152) or email (techelp@csueastbay.edu) to find out availability and request a laptop or wifi hotspot be shipped to you. For shipment, you will need to provide your full address and telephone number.

Returning a laptop or wifi hotspot

If you need to return a laptop or wifi hotspot that you borrowed, please visit the Library Learning Commons during open hours or email stsc@csueastbay.edu to request a return box be shipped to your home so that you can return the laptop or wifi hotspot by mail.
