How do I find a journal article?

Answer

Known Article Search

If you already know the citation information for an article, i.e you know the author/s, article title, journal title, date of publication, and/or volume number, you can look for the article in OneSearch (the search box on the library's homepage). Hint: take advantage of the 'advanced search' features and limit by format, date, or specify that you are doing an 'author/contributor' or 'title' search in the "any field" drop down.

Getting Started

If you are just starting your search for articles, we recommend you start with the Subject Guides or the Research Databases list and sort by Subject. When you have identified a database you would like to search, use keywords, descriptive words, or subject words to help identify relevant articles.

If you want to see if the Library has a particular journal and for what years, use the Journal Search.
