Q. How do I find a journal article?

Use the Subject Guides to see what databases our subject specialists have identified as pertinent to a discipline or go to the Research Databases list and sort by Subject.

When you have identified a database you would like to search, use keywords, descriptive words, or subject words to help identify relevant articles. If possible, limit your search to "peer-reviewed" or "academic" journals.

When you already know the citation information (author, article title, journal title, date of publication, volume number), you can look for a specific journal article in the CSUEB Library catalog.
